Since I was a child, creative visions have come to me when I close my eyes, just before falling asleep. When I start a painting, I may have an idea in the beginning, but then intuition takes over. I like to paint at night when it's quiet and my imagination takes me to obscure places. I don't put a lot of active thought into what gets me there, I'm simply tapping into the recesses of my mind and
the experiences of my life.

My inspirations are mostly derived from patterns I see in nature and anywhere else my eyes may fall. I believe all experiences I have lived through, both good and bad, influence what finds its way to the canvas.
